Ontogenesis of the development of vocabulary
in children of primary preschool age
Summary
The most important thing is for parents to closely monitor their children's speech and gain an indepth understanding of their children's vocabulary development. A child's speech may be different in
different speech environments, which causes parents to evaluate the child's speech differently.
Finally, a child‘s speech development occurs most intensively at 4-5 years of age. Examples from
fiction and experiences in active worlds support this development. Parents should help children learn
new words and enrich their active vocabulary and closely monitor this process.
