Training was organized for the teaching staff at Baku Girls University

On January 6, 2025, a training was organized for the teaching staff at Baku Girls' University within the framework of the implementation of the "Strategy for Children" approved by the Presidential Decree No. 2306 on November 27, 2020. The training was focused on "Ensuring the Preparation of Specialists for the Protection of Children's Rights."

The goal of the training was to improve the normative-legal framework and institutional structure in the field of child protection. During the training, the head of the Department of Psychology, Associate Professor Nurangiz Rzayeva emphasized the importance of child protection as a result of the tense events happening in the world and society. She highlighted the necessity for every teacher, psychologist, and parent to be informed about preventing cases such as child abuse, domestic violence, drug addiction, and deprivation of education, health, and other rights.

Other staff members from the Department of Psychology also contributed to the training by sharing their expertise and experiences with the participants.

The training played an important role in enhancing knowledge and preparing specialists for the protection of children's rights.
