has become our inevitable reality. The human profile required by the society we live in has also
changed depending on this development. In this respect, the education system aims to educate young
people by the age of science and the needs of society. For this purpose, in the research conducted by
us, the grade point average (GPA), which is the indicator of the academic success of the student, the
concept of anxiety, which is the most common psychological problem among young people, and the
concept of life satisfaction were discussed. The research was conducted on university students
studying in Azerbaijan and Turkey and the results were analyzed comparatively. During the analysis
of the results of the research, it was observed that the GPA decreased as the level of anxiety increased
in Azerbaijani and Turkish university students. When the relationship between anxiety level and GPA
was examined, it was seen that the results of female students differed more than male students. When
the results of the students studying in both countries were examined, it was seen that there was a
difference between the life satisfaction levels of working students and the life satisfaction levels of
unemployed students. The results show that married students' life satisfaction levels differ more than
single and divorced students. Finally, it is seen that the anxiety levels of university students studying
in Turkey and Azerbaijan differ. Thus, it was seen that the anxiety level results of the students
studying in Turkey were higher than the students in Azerbaijan
