Summary
The article examines the issues of formation of modern engineering culture among students of Higher Education Institutions. Education in the field of robotics is defined as one of the methods of solving the above problem. In the educational process of the physics block (mechatronics, robotics), the composition of robotics application technologies was revealed. The features of robotics as a thinking tool have been determined. The use of this tool in the researches and technical creations of the students in teaching has been discussed.
