Summary
The article explores the role of multimedia technologies in developing students’ intercultural communicative competence in foreign language education. The relevance of the research is emphasized in the context of globalization and digital transformation of education, particularly for the bilingual Azerbaijani audience. The study reveals the didactic potential of multimedia tools in developing the cognitive, affective, and procedural components of intercultural competence. The paper substantiates the importance of methodologically sound integration of multimedia technologies into the educational process as a means of cultural interaction, motivation enhancement, and learner autonomy development.
