Summary
The article is devoted to the study of a number of socially relevant issues such as women’s rights, early marriage, and women’s access to education in the context of Jafar Jabbarli’s short stories. In Jabbarli’s stories, female characters are shaped under the influence of the social environment, family relations, and ideological perspectives. Based on these works, the problem of attitudes toward women is examined in a comprehensive manner. The article also scientifically substantiates the resonance of the problems raised in these stories with contemporary Azerbaijani society.
