Summary
The article deals with the usage of euphemisms in texts. It states that the euphemisms have wide opportunities in clarifying the pragmatic aspects of texts. The different types of euphemisms have been analyzed in the article. The samples used in the article are aimed to define the explicit meanings of euphemisms in different types of texts. The texts which are full of euphemisms differ from other texts from the style point of view.
