The article analyzes the current state of Azerbaijani children's literature in the period of independence, focusing on its main development trends, existing problems, and future prospects. Contemporary works written for children increasingly address psychological, ecological, and social issues, while also striving to preserve national and moral values. The study also examines challenges related to publishing, promotion, and readership, and proposes theoretical and practical approaches to ensure the sustainable development of Azerbaijani children's literature in the modern era.
