Summary
The article discusses the difficulties that arise in role behavior during the adaptation of personality to a changing environment. It is shown that the overall adaptation process is a complex phenomenon encompassing the biological, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of personality. Therefore, each new situation requires the adaptation of these areas of the personality. In psychology, scientific adaptation difficulties are studied from both social and psychological perspectives. The author approaches the issue from this aspect in the research. The problem is analyzed by examining first-year students of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Academy's Police Department, and the results are generalized. It is demonstrated that, due to the special regime of this educational institution, the cadets face new rules. Violations of these rules often occur in their emotional domain and behavior. Since social role behavior is regulated by several physiological actions, psychological constructs, and behavioral models, it is necessary to practice to form new role behavior models and acquire new habits and skills. This is possible only after a certain period. This preparation must take place at both the physiological and psychological levels. To cope with potential challenging situations, a person must improve and activate themselves.
