Summary 

In the modern era, where information is rapidly expanding on a global scale and the interdisciplinary study of knowledge has become increasingly relevant, the integrative approach is considered one of the key factors ensuring the effective teaching of history. The article discusses the conceptual foundations of integration, its pedagogical and methodological aspects, and its application in different countries. It evaluates the potential outcomes of synthesizing integrative approaches with interactive teaching methods in history lessons, identifies practical application areas, and proposes effective methodological strategies in this direction. Furthermore, the legal foundations of using integrative methods in history education in the Republic of Azerbaijan, including state strategies and curriculum reforms, are examined. The work done in this field is analyzed, and future development perspectives are assessed. Additionally, the advantages of using interdisciplinary integration to develop students’ analytical thinking, enhance their critical reasoning, and improve their problem-solving skills in history lessons are highlighted.
