Summary
This article discusses the development of oral speech in preschool preparatory groups and the need for a systematic approach aimed at enhancing children's communication skills, enriching their vocabulary, and forming correct speech habits. A child-centered approach, which considers the interests and needs of the child, contributes to the development of positive social skills. Visual and practical teaching methods, storytelling, word games, and the use of fiction strengthen speech abilities. The theories of Lev Vygotsky, Jean Piaget, and Jerome Bruner emphasize the importance of social and cognitive factors in children's language development. Azerbaijani scholars also highlight the significance of interactive methods, group activities, and role-playing games during the preschool preparation period. These approaches help children develop oral speech more actively and creatively.
