Summary 

This article examines the STEAM method, which is widely applied in modern education, highlighting its features, differences from traditional approaches, and implementation results. STEAM education is based on the integration of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, aiming to develop 21st-century skills among students. Unlike traditional teaching methods, STEAM emphasizes hands-on experience, project-based learning, and creative thinking. The article analyzes various international and local studies demonstrating the positive impact of STEAM on academic performance, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, it reviews the outcomes of the “STEAM Azerbaijan” project implemented in Azerbaijan, emphasizing its role in the education system. The article explains how STEAM education contributes to solving real-world problems and what makes it fundamentally different from traditional learning.
