Summary
This article examines the impact of motivation-based management methods on students’ academic achievements and their application in Azerbaijani language teaching. It highlights the important role of motivation in improving the quality of education and strengthening students’ interest in learning. Various motivation theories -Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, Herzberg’s two factor theory, and Deci and Ryan’s self-determination theory - are presented as key factors influencing the formation of motivation in the learning process. The article emphasizes that applying motivation-based management methods in Azerbaijani language lessons increases students’ engagement, enhances their language skills, and makes the learning environment more interactive and appealing. Ultimately, integrating motivation-based approaches in education not only improves students’ academic performance but also strengthens their enthusiasm for learning and contributes to the development of independent thinking skills.
