Summary 

School is not only an institution that ensures students’ academic success but also an essential nurturing environment that promotes adolescents’ social adaptation. Although schools are generally perceived as safe spaces, the issue of bullying among students is becoming increasingly urgent. Bullying negatively impacts adolescents’ mental, social, and academic development. The study emphasizes that bullying may occur both within the school premises and beyond. It also analyzes the types of bullying and the psychological characteristics of aggressors, victims, and bystanders. It is noted that school bullying can have long-term consequences, including depression and social isolation. The article underscores the necessity of targeted preventive and intervention measures and presents recommendations for effective intervention methods.
