Summary
The study, based on the analysis of the problem of forming cognitive interest by teachers and psychologists, proved that cognitive interests have a positive effect on mental activity and the process of assimilation of knowledge, stimulate the development of volitional qualities, have driving and regulatory capabilities. On the basis of which is information about the environment. And the assimilation and development of information is carried out in the process of active cognition. During the study, pedagogical conditions for the development of cognitive activity of younger students in integrated music and reading lessons were identified, scientifically substantiated and tested. The results obtained can be useful for both practicing teachers and researchers.
