Summary
The article describes the description of the social essence of the people in the prose works of Agharahim Rahimov. Agharahim Rahimov is one of the prominent representatives of Azerbaijani literature. He is an outstanding figure of Azerbaijani literary thought and literary scholarship. He became famous for his prose works, and made a great contribution to Azerbaijani literature, science, and art through his multifaceted activities. In his prose works, the social essence of the people – that is, the way of life of the people, their social relations, their moral values and their role in social processes - is brought to the fore as one of the main artistic stones. Agharahim Rahimov's prose penetrates deeply into everyday life, psychology, historical memory and models of social behavior of people. Therefore, in his work it is of great importance to involve the reflection of the socio-pedagogical essence of the people in the study.
