Aprominent Azerbaijani pedagogue, writer, and publicist. Folklore, as the collective memory and wisdom of the people, is an essential part of his prose, plays, and essays. Rəhimov incorporates folk tales, epic elements, proverbs, sayings, customs, and lyrical forms such as bayatis into his works. These elements enrich his artistic expression, enhance the moral and educational value of his writings, and preserve Azerbaijani national identity. The study emphasizes that folklore in Rəhimov’s works serves not only as an aesthetic device but also as a pedagogical and cultural tool, ensuring the continuity of national values in contemporary literature.
