Summary
This article examines the pedagogical principles of working with Baroque music, using the works of Scarlatti and Bach as examples. The study emphasizes the importance of a systematic approach in developing students’ polyphonic thinking and musical discipline. The application of techniques for analyzing texture, articulation, and phrasing contributes to the development of technical and performance maturity. Historically informed performance practices are highlighted, enhancing musicians’ stylistic competence. Specific pedagogical recommendations for practical implementation in the educational process are presented. The result of applying these approaches is a high level of musical understanding and performance skill among students.
