Summary
The article explores the theoretical foundations of tolerance formation among students within a scientific and pedagogical framework. It analyzes the concept of tolerance, its historical, social, and psychological aspects, as well as its application in the learning process. The author highlights the role of tolerance in student personality development, particularly in fostering social adaptation, empathy, cooperation, and communication skills. Structural components of tolerant behavior—self-awareness, self-evaluation, self-regulation, and self-determination—are presented as core elements of the pedagogical system. The study also elucidates how history education contributes to students’ moral and intellectual growth.
