Summary

The article examines modern possibilities for applying artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL). The role of AI as a tool for personalizing and adapting the learning process, automating assessment, providing interactive lessons, speech recognition, and grammar and style analysis is emphasized. The use of virtual educational platforms, gamified applications, and intelligent tutors contributes to increasing student motivation and developing communicative skills. AI is considered a supportive resource for teachers rather than a replacement for face-to-face interaction, and it facilitates the integration of cultural and educational content into the learning process. The practical significance lies in optimizing teacher activity, stimulating independent learning, and improving the quality of RFL instruction according to students’ individual needs.
