Empathy in teacher–student relationships is analyzed from both pedagogical and psychological perspectives, examining the impact of an empathetic approach on the effectiveness of the learning process, the holistic development of students, and the psychological climate in the classroom. The teacher plays a crucial role in understanding the student’s inner world and fostering mutual trust and respect. Additionally, empathy contributes to increased student motivation, makes the learning process more engaging, and reduces behavioral problems in the classroom. The study concludes that empathy is an integral part of a teacher’s professional activity, and its systematic development is a vital task in the modern education system. The findings indicate that empathy is one of the key factors ensuring the democratic and humanistic nature of teacher–student relationships and promotes the overall effectiveness of the educational process.
