In the modern era, the rapid processes of globalization, migration, and the development of information technologies have increased the number of multicultural societies and significantly strengthened interlingual interaction. In this context, language behavior and models of multilingualism function not only as tools of communication but also as important factors in shaping social identity, cultural integration, and social relations. This article analyzes the characteristics of language behavior in a multicultural environment, the models of individual and societal multilingualism, and the socio-cultural factors influencing these processes.
