Summary
The study examines the ontological and psychological aspects of the phenomenon of betrayal in Ramiz Rovshan's prose within the context of the works “Betrayal” and “Who is Dead, Who is Alive?!”. By analyzing betrayal through the lens of the dialectics of desire and fear, the author uses artistic evidence to substantiate the mechanisms by which individual passions transform into socio-national tragedies. The article interprets the manifestations of moral erosion in micro and macro environments, while evaluating the essence of betrayal as a form of internal weakness and existential crisis from a theoretical perspective.
