Summary
In teaching English, it is important to present literary texts for students to penetrate the language and integrate them directly into that environment. There is a need to work on texts in order to master the rich language structures of the English language and use them correctly at the appropriate time. Using texts that reflect events occurring in a real environment not only provides students with knowledge, but also develops their worldview. The study presents the impact of such texts on the language learning process, the characteristics of reading materials, as well as their teaching methods. Here, the opinions of various scholars are analyzed in a comparative manner and their attitude is expressed. The presented article also reflects the facts obtained as a result of the experiment
