Summary
MatLab is widely used as a computing tool in science and technology, covering the fields of physics, chemistry, mathematics and all technical streams. These features increase the importance of the multifaceted use of the MatLab system in the educational process of higher educational institutions, which makes the use of special package programs relevant. This article reviews the history of the emergence and integration of complex numbers in other areas of education. Especially, the use of imaginary numbers in electrical engineering.
