Summary
The motives that determine suicidal behavior can be divided into two groups: conscious and unconscious. Conscious motives are considered in physiological, psychological and socioeconomic categories. Since the study of unconscious motives is more complex, it requires a special approach to the issue. In this regard, the concept of unconsciousness is taken as a criterion and, based on psychoanalytic experience in the relevant context, forty-three unconscious motives are identified as a result of the analysis. In the initial version, the unconscious motives conditioning suicidal tendency were classified and analysed.
